Decision Comes Following Community Complaints and Joint Letter Urging Denial of License
NEW YORK – State Senator Brad Hoylman said: “I’m very pleased the New York State Liquor Authority has decided to once and for all deny a liquor license renewal to this disruptive and dangerous nightclub. This establishment’s violent culture, along with its excessive noise and litter regularly interfered with the lives of too many of my constituents and while Greenhouse closed in April of 2014, today’s decision means that the surrounding community can rest knowing it will not return.
"Thank you to Manhattan Community Board 2, the Charlton Street Block Association, the Vandam Street Block Association, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Assembly Member Deborah Glick and Council Member Corey Johnson for working alongside me to once and for all address this issue.”
