ALBANY - State Senator Brad Hoylman said: “I'm pleased that Robert Gates, the president of the Boy Scouts of America has publicly called to fully end his organization's discriminatory practices against LGBT people. If he truly believes the Boy Scouts’ policy is wrong however, Mr. Gates should act now and not wait for a protracted decision-making process by the Scouts' governing body."
