PSAP Grant Funding Will Help Keep Communities Safe

“Improving public safety and having cutting edge technology is always of the utmost importance. First responders need to be able to quickly and easily get all pertinent information in an emergency situation. The Public Safety Answering Points Operations Grants, which the Senate fought hard to including the state budget, are investments in our communities that will ensure residents' needs can be answered when seconds matters most. I am committed to helping residents receive the highest quality emergency services and this funding will help keep all New Yorkers safe.”

Funding is non-competitive and formula based. Allegany County will receive $161,547; Cattaraugus County will receive $172,605; Chautauqua County will receive $178,323; and Livingston County will receive $167,362.
