Special Weather Statement From Senator George Amedore

Due to the snow storm and expected dangerous conditions, a travel ban has been put in place in 13 counties, including Ulster County. Beginning tonight, January 26th, at 11 pm, only emergency vehicles should be on the roads and other drivers may be ticketed and fined. 

Governor Cuomo has also directed all non-essential state employees in the affected 13 county region to stay home from work on Tuesday.

This storm is expected to bring hazardous conditions. Everyone please stay at home, and stay safe!
