STATEMENT FROM SENATOR AMEDORE ON GOVERNOR’S VETO OF VETERANS’ BUYBACK BILL
October 29, 2015
It is disappointing that Governor Cuomo has vetoed legislation that would ensure all our service men and women get the benefits they have earned. I am proud to co-sponsor this important legislation, which has overwhelming support in both the Senate and the Assembly, and has now been vetoed by Governor Cuomo for the second year in a row. I will continue to advocate for the veteran’s equality act until it becomes law.
