Statement From Senator George Amedore
George A. Amedore, Jr.
June 19, 2015
I’m saddened to learn of the passing of Esopus Town Supervisor John Coutant, who was a friend and an outstanding public servant. He had a tremendous vision, and was instrumental in increasing green energy sources and bringing solar power to the community.
My condolences go out to Mr. Coutant’s family and friends, and to the community that he served with great distinction. He was a true leader, and will be sorely missed.
