Senator Farley Notes Toys for Tots Convoy Event Slated for Nov. 29th

November kicks off the holiday season, as well as the season for giving. State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) notes the local Toys for Tots Campaign for giving to families in need also kicks off in November with a number of events, including a convoy through Saratoga County.

Line up begins Nov. 29th at 9 a.m. at Shenendehowa High School and will travel along Route 9 to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office substation, located at Malta Commons, 100 Saratoga Village Blvd., Malta.

“With the many problems affecting the world today, it is in the public’s giving nature to reach out to those less fortunate,” Senator Farley said.

The convoy will include emergency vehicles and various trucks, including Capital Region Toys for Tots, United States Marine Corps, Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Fulton County Sheriff's Office, Ambulance Service of Fulton County, Ballston Lake EMS, Burnt Hills Fire, Clifton Park Fire, Edinburg emergency medical and fire agencies, Galway fire and police departments, Halfmoon Waterford fire department, Jonesville fire department, Saratoga County Emergency Services, Coseo's Service Station of Ballston Spa, and Timco Transportation of Scotia.

Donations of unwrapped toys will be accepted at the event. The donations will be given to less fortunate families.
