Students from Great Neck North Middle School recently helped Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) spread some holiday cheer to children who are going through tough times.
The students took part in Senator Martins’ annual holiday toy drive, leading a collection drive at the school. Senator Martins visited the school to pick-up the toys and personally thank the students for their efforts. All the toys collected by the students were delivered to children in Winthrop University Hospital.
“Great Neck North’s students really demonstrated what the holiday season is all about; bringing joy to others through the spirit of giving. They’re not just giving the gift of toys; they’re giving the gift of happiness to many children and their families during their time of need. They did a wonderful job, and I appreciate all their efforts,” said Senator Martins.
