Senator Martins and Elmont Boy Scouts Discuss Government and Citizenship

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently helped Boy Scouts from Troop 294 in Elmont in earning their citizenship merit badges.
Senator Martins welcomed the scouts to his district office this past weekend to talk about government, civics, and the importance of being active citizens. They also talked about some of the issues facing the community.
