Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently joined with Troop 71 in Manhasset to congratulate Vincent Tomaselli, Peter Boyadjian, and Garrett Byrne for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
Senator Martins presented Vincent, Peter, and Garrett with legislative resolutions he sponsored, which were passed by the Senate, honoring them for achieving Scouting’s highest rank. With passage of the resolutions, their accomplishments will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
“Becoming an Eagle Scout demands serving the community, developing a wide variety of skills, demonstrating leadership, and countless hours of sheer hard work. It is such a prestigious honor because few can meet the rigorous requirements needed to earn it. Vincent, Peter, and Garrett have proven themselves worthy of scouting’s highest rank, and now join an elite group which includes Neil Armstrong, Gerald Ford and Steven Spielberg. Congratulations to them on a job well done,” said Senator Martins.
