Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District, pictured left) recently congratulated Hicksville residents Michael Italiano (pictured right) and Anthony Minerva (pictured center), members of Boy Scout Troop 382, for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
Senator Martins presented Michael and Anthony with legislative resolutions he sponsored, which were passed by the Senate, honoring them for achieving Scouting’s highest rank. With passage of the resolutions, Michael and Anthony’s accomplishments will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
“Few scouts can meet the years of dedication, commitment, and service required to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, which is what makes it such an extraordinary honor. Through countless hours of serving the community, developing their skills, and sheer hard work, Michael and Anthony have earned the highest honor a scout can receive. The entire community is very proud of Michael and Anthony and we congratulate them on earning this prestigious honor,” said Senator Martins.
