Senator Martins Joins WITH Albertson Community in Observing Memorial Day

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently joined with members of the Albertson community in honoring our American heroes at the annual Memorial Day ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Albertson Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5253.

     Senator Martins, along with the VFW, Albertson Fire Department, Herricks High School Band, and local residents paid tribute to our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. Senator Martins was joined at the ceremony by fellow public officials Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel; North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth; Town Clerk Wayne Wink; Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman; Councilmembers Peter Zuckerman and Dina De Giorgio; and New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli.
