Senator Martins & Manhasset Students Help Bring Holiday Cheer to Children in Winthrop Hospital
December 18, 2015
Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) and students from Manhasset Secondary School recently partnered to bring some extra holiday cheer to children in need.
The students collected toys for Senator Martins’ annual holiday toy drive to benefit children in Winthrop-University Hospital. Senator Martins visited the school to pick-up the toys and personally thank the students for their efforts.
“The holidays are all about giving and bringing joy to others, and it was wonderful to see how Manhasset’s students really embraced the holiday spirit. Every toy the students collected will bring smiles to the faces of families who are going through some tough times. Thanks to each of them for working hard and doing such a great job once again,” said Senator Martins.
