Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) and the Nassau County Police Department will be sponsoring a free program to help parents protect their children from substance abuse. The substance abuse prevention program will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 7 pm at the Hicksville Public Library (169 Jerusalem Avenue, Hicksville).

The program is focused towards parents, but anyone interested in attending is welcome. Parents wishing to bring their children are also welcome to do so.
The program is free and no RSVP is required. For more information about the May 28th substance abuse prevention program at the Hicksville Public Library, please call Senator Martins’ office at 516-746-5924 or Detective Pamela Stark of the Nassau County Police Department at 516-573-7360.
