Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently met with members of New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Key Club to thank them for participating in his annual holiday toy drive.
The students collected toys for the program, which benefit children in Winthrop-University Hospital, to help bring some extra cheer to kids in need. Senator Martins visited the school to pick-up the toys and show his appreciation for their hard work.
“New Hyde Park’s Key Club did a wonderful job organizing this collection drive at their school to help make the holidays a little happier for children in Winthrop. Thanks to all the students and staff who participated in this program, because their efforts will really help make a difference,” said Senator Martins.
