Senator Martins Votes to Reappoint Port Washington Resident to New York State Court of Claims

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently voted to confirm Port Washington resident Alan Honorof for reappointment to the New York State Court of Claims. Judge Honorof was nominated for reappointment by Governor Andrew Cuomo and confirmed by the New York State Senate.
Judge Honorof has been serving on the Court of Claims since 1996. Prior to his initial appointment, Judge Honorof had an over twenty year career as a litigator, both in private practice and as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Judge Honorof received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law.
“Alan Honorof is a highly experienced, well qualified judge. The New York State Court of Claims will continue to benefit from his service. Congratulations to Judge Honorof on this well-deserved reappointment,” said Senator Martins.
