James L. Seward
July 13, 2015
ONEONTA, 07/13/15 -- State Senator James L. Seward (R/C/I – Oneonta) today applauded the NYSDEC decision to issue permits associated with the The Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park:
“This is extremely good news that will help solidify the local tax base and grow the regional economy by boosting our year-round recreation and tourism industry. Local elected officials, business leaders, and area residents have put countless hours into fine tuning the blueprints for this project and their collective input has produced a winning plan that will result in a true centerpiece for the region. This Belleayre Resort project, and many other developments that are commencing, mean exciting times are ahead for the entire Catskill Region.”
Senator Seward had previously written a formal letter to the DEC in support of the proposed plans for The Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park.
