Photo of the Week: 2015 Job & Career Fair

With pens in hand, dozens of employment seekers filled out job applications at Senator James Sanders Jr.'s Job & Career Fair, held on Tuesday, October 20 at JHS 226 in South Ozone Park. Some, even got hired right on the spot. 

Attendee Tychera Caldwell was picked up by TJ Maxx and starts her new job today. 

"The future looks bright for this young lady," Sanders said.  "I know it's hard finding a job but please, don't give up! I will bring a Job & Career Fair to your area soon. Come and get yours." 

Companies featured at the event included: State Farm Insurance, Walgreens, Council for Airport Opportunity, JCPenney, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, T-Mobile, Macy's, New York Life Insurance, 100 Suits For 100 Men, FDNY, Forever 21 and Primerica.
