SENATOR KLEIN HOSTS FIRST ANNUAL THROGGS NECK HOUSES FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Local football tournament works to build stronger community relations with NYPD

BRONX, NY - State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) presented participants with medals at his First Annual Throggs Neck Houses Football Tournament at Ferry Point Park this past weekend. The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the Throggs Neck Houses Residents’ Council,  the 45th Precinct,  Police Service Area #8, and New York City Transit Police all played in the day-long games. It is the second in a series of sporting events bringing the community together with city and law enforcement agencies that serve them.
