Forum to bring together principals, teachers, parents, and education advocates for community dialogue
Brooklyn, NY – Senator Hamilton, Assembly Member Simon, and Council Member Lander will co-host a forum on Wednesday April 15, 2015 (7pm - 9pm) at the Old First Reformed Church, 729 Carroll St, Brooklyn.
There have been discussions within schools, but fewer opportunities for multiple school communities to gather and exchange ideas, thoughts, and concerns. The community dialogue on high stakes testing will provide an opportunity for elected officials to hear from the community and give updates on budgetary, legislative, and political developments. Parents and educators from more than twenty schools have been invited. The school-to-school, grassroots dialogue will include discussion of recent developments.
