(Middletown, NY)-Senator Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join friends and neighbors this past Saturday at the 16th Annual Blueberry Festival, which was held in downtown Ellenville. The Blueberry Festival is the most well attended community event held in the Village all year. There are exhibits showcasing the cultural heritage of Ellenville, live music, children’s entertainment, raffles, a variety of great foods, a homemade blueberry pie baking contest, as well as other delicious blueberry treats. In addition, vendors line Canal Street showcasing arts and crafts, and local merchandise. Many local non-profits set up booths as well. Prior to the Festival, Senator Bonacic visited with the men and women of the Pioneer Engine Company, who hold an annual pancake breakfast on the same day as the Blueberry Festival.
