Senator Bonacic Attends 2nd Annual Sullivan United Mid-Summer Mixer

(Middletown, NY)-Senator Bonacic joined local business and community leaders as well as elected officials last evening at the 2nd Annual Sullivan United Mid-Summer Mixer, where he delivered remarks. The event was held at the Monster Golf Course in the Town of Thompson. Sullivan United is a consortium of local business and economic development groups which includes, the Sullivan County Industrial Development Agency, the Sullivan County Partnership, the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and the Sullivan County Visitors Association. Their goal is to work to together to promote economic vitality within Sullivan County, and help create jobs.
The 2nd Annual Mid-Summer Mixer was not only an opportunity for local business and political leaders to network together, but also to highlight the future economic development projects coming to Sullivan County, most notably the Montreign Resort Casino and Adelaar Development Project.
Prior to the mixer, Senator Bonacic toured the site of the Montreign and Adelaar projects with Charles Degliomini, Vice President of Empire Resorts, Inc, to get an update on the progress that has been made so far. These projects alone, are expected to be over a $1 billion of investment into the Sullivan County economy.
