Senator Bonacic, a voting member and Senate representative to the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, attended the Council’s working meeting today, at Putnam County Golf Course in Mahopac, NY. The focus of the meeting dealt with the Upstate Revitalization Initiative (URI), a program implemented by NY which would award $500 million to three upstate economic development regions, and centered around strategies that the Council could undertake to ensure that they are well positioned to receive that funding.
