Senator Bonacic Celebrates the Service of Suny Orange President Bill Richards

(Middletown, NY)- Senator Bonacic was pleased to join members of the community and local officials last evening at the retirement celebration of SUNY Orange President Dr. Bill Richards at Kaplan Hall in Newburgh. Dr. Richards has served as the President of SUNY Orange since 2003 and during his tenure has been a tremendous advocate for the students and faculty at the institution. Just in the last six years alone the university has poured over $140 million into capital projects, greatly enhancing the educational experience of all of its students. Dr. Richards and his wife Helen plan to spend their retirement in Colorado to spend time with their daughter Jennifer and granddaughter Catherine Jane.
