(Middletown, NY)-Senator Bonacic was pleased to attend, and speak at, the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for James E. Steinberg, III, in Monticello, NY, this past Saturday. Steinberg is a third-generation Eagle Scout, with his grandfather and father having both achieved the rank of Eagle. Less than 5% of Scouts earn this prestigious award, and remarkably, Steinberg received his at the age of 15. For his service project, James painted and restored the Old Town Hall in Forestburgh, NY. At such an early age, James has already demonstrated his commitment to his community, and is well positioned to be successful in whatever endeavor he chooses to pursue.
