Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics!

The New York Special Olympics is looking for volunteers to assist in the Winter Games that are taking place from February 19, 2016 to February 21, 2016 in Poughkeepsie, NY. More than 1,000 athletes and coaches from across the state will participate in the 2016 State Winter Games, featuring competitions in Alpine Skiing, Cross- Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey and Snowshoe.
Volunteers are needed to set up and break down sports venues, distribute lunches, sell merchandise, and help with Opening Ceremonies, and Olympic Village. Staff the following athletic venues: Alpine Skiing, Cross- Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey and Snowshoe.
