New York State Senate Passes Senator Serrano's Bill Designed to Prohibit Littering on State Park Lands

(Albany, NY) - On Wednesday, May 20th, the New York State Senate passed Senator Serrano's bill, S956, designed to help keep our beloved state parks and historic sites clean and beautiful by prohibiting littering on state park lands.
"This bill represents an important step towards protecting and enhancing our state park lands by creating a stronger deterrent to littering," said Senator Serrano. "It is important that we all work together to preserve our green spaces for the enjoyment of future generations to come."
The bill will now be sent to the Assembly, where it seeks action.
