Senator Serrano Celebrates the 2015 Bronx Dominican Day Parade

(Bronx, NY)- Senator Serrano marched in the annual Bronx Dominican Day Parade, which took place along the Grand Concourse, south from East Tremont Avenue to East 167th Street in the Bronx. The parade, which is widely attended by thousands of people across all nationalities, honors and celebrates the history and culture of the Dominican people.
"This year's parade was a wonderful celebration of Dominican culture, heritage and pride. I was happy to join so many of my colleagues in government, including Congressman José E. Serrano, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.,Council Member Vanessa L. Gibson and Assemblymember Latoya Joyner at the festivities. Many thanks to all the spectators who lined the Grand Concourse to cheer us on!" said Senator Serrano.
