(Bronx, NY)- Senator Serrano joined New York City Council Member Vanessa L. Gibson and Assemblymember Latoya Joyner for their Black History Month celebration at The Bronx Museum of the Arts. The widely attended event included an awards ceremony and musical entertainment
"It is an honor to continue the celebration of Black History Month at this great event hosted by my good friends and colleagues in government, Councilwoman Gibson and Assemblywoman Joyner," said Senator Serrano. "Black History Month is a great opportunity to give praise to the achievements that have been made in our community by our wonderful African-American leaders. Many thanks to the Councilwoman and Assemblywoman for hosting this magnificent display of history, unity and accomplishments."
