(Albany, NY) - Senator Serrano met with advocates from Community Service of New York to discuss reforming the criminal justice system, solitary confinement and other important issues for Advocacy Day 2015.
"I had a great conversation with advocates from Community Service of NY," said Senator Serrano. "We spoke about the need to improve the criminal justice system and the inhumane treatment given to individuals in solitary confinement. I want to thank the folks from Community Service NY for stopping by my office in Albany to advocate on behalf of this important issue."
