(Albany, NY)- Senator Serrano met with local park advocates in Albany for Park Advocacy Day. Serrano kicked off the day by delivering remarks at the Parks Advocacy Day Legislative Breakfast. Senator Serrano, an avid user and supporter of our state parks, followed his remarks by meeting with Parks and Trails NY to discuss important issues effecting our Parks and ways we can better protect these natural resources for future generations.
"I am a huge believer in the transformative effect of our parks, trails and natural wonders," said Senator Serrano. "As the Ranking Member on the Senate's Park Committee, I feel it is our duty to maintain and fortify our parks system so that it can have that same positive effect on future generations."
