Release: Addabbo Announces Mobile Office Hours for July

Howard Beach, NY (July 7, 2015) As part of his ongoing commitment to connect with all his constituents, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. has scheduled a series of upcoming Mobile Office Hours at locations across his Senate district.

Every year, Addabbo travels to libraries throughout his district to be able to meet with constituents who are unable to visit his offices. These office hours provide an extra opportunity for residents to come in and meet with Addabbo to discuss problems they may be having or issues within the community.

“Everyone has different schedules and circumstances, and not every constituent is able to visit one of my three offices during the regular 9 to 5 work day,” said Addabbo. “In addition, it may not be possible for some constituents to get to one of the neighborhoods my offices are located in. That doesn’t mean they should be left out. These mobile office hours not only give people a chance to come to me when it is convenient for them, but it makes it easier for them to do so by giving me a place to meet with my constituents right in their own neighborhoods. As I have stressed in the past, it is always important to make time for one-on-one, face-to-face meetings with residents across my district, and I am happy to give us both that opportunity through these mobile office hours.”

The upcoming mobile office hours for the month of July are:

·         Thursday, July 9, at the Glendale Library, located at 78-60 73rd Place

·         Thursday, July 16, at the Broad Channel Library, located at 16-26 Cross Bay Boulevard

·         Thursday, July 23, at the Rego Park Library, located at 91-31 63rd Drive

·         Thursday, July 30, at the Woodhaven Library, located at 85-41 Forest Parkway

All office hours are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Additional mobile office hours are being scheduled for future dates and locations throughout the district.
