Release: Addabbo to Hold Mobile Office Hours in Rego Park

Howard Beach, NY (July 21, 2015) This week, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. will continue his series of mobile office hours in Rego Park.

As part of his ongoing commitment to connect with all his constituents, Addabbo travels to libraries throughout his district each year to be able to meet with constituents who are unable to visit his offices. These office hours provide an extra opportunity for residents to come in and meet with Addabbo to discuss problems they may be having or issues within the community.

“I have always encouraged my constituents to visit one of my three district offices if they ever need assistance with anything at all, but that is not always easy for everyone to do,” said Addabbo. “Everyone has different schedules and circumstances, and some people are not able to make it to an office during the regular 9 to 5 workday. That’s where these mobile office hours come in. Scheduling this time makes it easier and more convenient for all my constituents to reach me and ensures no one is left out of the opportunity to have a face-to-face, individual meeting.”

Addabbo will be at the Rego Park Library, located at 91-31 63rd Drive, this Thursday, July 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Anyone who needs assistance or would like to speak to the Senator is encouraged to come in during this time slot.
