Emergency Preparedness Training Program in Saratoga Springs this Tuesday

Please join me for a Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program that I’m co-sponsoring with State and Saratoga County officials this coming Tuesday, August 18, at 1 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Saratoga Springs, located at 45 Washington Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The training will focus on responding to a natural or man-made disaster and feature guidance on properly preparing for a disaster, including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on e...mergency supplies. Trainers will discuss which organizations can provide additional support, how to register for NY-Alert and be aware of notifications from the Emergency Broadcast System. In addition, every family registered to attend the event will receive a State Disaster Preparedness Kit.
