As the NCAA Tournament Commences, Panepinto Set to Honor UB Team on the Senate Floor

BUFFALO, N.Y. – As the Captain of the 1987 UB Football Team, the school's athletic program is something Senator Marc Panepinto holds very close to his heart. He will be displaying his school pride next week when he introduces a resolution on the Senate Floor honoring the UB Bulls on their advancement into the NCCA National Tournament. Today, he made the following comments:

“I could not be prouder of my alma mater and their first entry ever into the NCAA Tournament. The outstanding young men on the UB Bulls team have been so much fun to watch and their gifted coach, Bobby Hurley, deserves a lot of credit for ushering these talents together and building one heck of a program. I look forward to watching them defeat West Virginia and honoring this impressive team next week on the Senate Floor.”

Senator Panepinto recently sponsored Resolution J.1047 which congratulates the 2014-2015 University at Buffalo Men's Basketball Team on advancing to the NCAA Basketball National Tournament. Resolution can be viewed below:
