ALBANY, N.Y. – Senator Marc Panepinto released the following statement after standing with “Rebuild NY Now”:
“The need to rebuild New York State’s deteriorating infrastructure is real, relevant, and urgent. I made this a top priority of mine during state budget negotiations when I recently called for a $500 million infrastructure stimulus package that included funding increases to the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program, the Deficient Bridge Emergency Repair, and New York’s extreme weather program. Here in Western New York, we must prioritize infrastructure and economic revitalization projects so that Buffalo continues to create good jobs and remains competitive in today’s market. I will fight for nothing less this legislative session.”
