NO REFUSE, ORGANICS, OR RECYCLING COLLECTION OR STREET CLEANING ON COLUMBUS DAY, MONDAY, OCTOBER 12

The New York City Department of Sanitation reminds residents that in observance of Columbus Day, there will be no refuse, organics or recycling collection, or street cleaning on Monday, October 12, 2015. In addition, all administrative offices will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of the holiday.
Residents normally receiving Monday refuse and organics collection should place their material out at curbside Monday after 4 p.m. for pickup.
Residents normally receiving Monday recycling collection will not have their material picked up until the following Monday, October 19, 2015.
