Senator Golden to Host Social Media & Marketing Seminar for Small Businesses

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), today is announcing that in cooperation with the Staten Island Small Business Development Center, he will be hosting a two hour Social Media & Marketing Seminar on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Bay Ridge Manor, 476-76th Street in Brooklyn.

The seminar is designed to assist local businesses develop an effective social media strategy and action plan that can support and advance their sales and marketing.  Charles Conard, Co-Founder and Principal of Social Go To, a company which helps small and medium-sized companies and organizations to effectively use social media, will be the guest speaker at the event.

Senator Marty Golden stated, “As a former small business owner and merchant leader, I know how much work it takes to make a business profitable.  As technology continues to advance, and be so integral in our everyday lives, store owners should adapt to new ways to showcase their merchandise, promote their name and product, and build interest in their products.  I hope many of our local stores and their staff join us for this informative meeting.”
