SENATOR GOLDEN TO JOIN PIETRO’S FIGHT TO ANNOUNCE CONTINUED EFFORTS TO END DMD (DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY)

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will join Pietro Scarso and his parents, Manni and Dayna Scarso, at a press conference to announce the continued efforts of Pietro’s Fight to help bring an end to DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) tomorrow, Friday, December 4, 2015, at 12:00 PM, at the entrance of Cannon Ball Park, located at 101st Street and 4th Avenue.
The Scarso Family will speak about the progress of their efforts to get the drug Eteplirsen approved by the Federal Drug Administration. The organization has raised over $1 million dollars to fund research and trials in an effort find a cure for DMD.
At the press conference, details of the second annual PJ’s for PJ event, a fundraising pajama party set to take place in our schools later this month, will also be announced.
