New Satellite Office Opens in City of Rochester

State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer announced today the opening of a new Satellite Office in the City of Rochester. The Rochester Satellite Office is located at 778 Genesee Street.
“In an effort to better serve residents, I have opened a new satellite office in the City of Rochester. This new Satellite Office will bring the New York State Senate to Genesee Street,” said Ranzenhofer.
Senator Ranzenhofer secured funding for numerous community initiatives during the 2015 Legislative Session, including:
• $2.3 million boost in state funding for child care in Monroe County
• $30,000 in funding for Arnett, Highland and Phillis Wheatley Community Libraries
• $15,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester to support youth programs; and
• $10,000 for new computers for students at Dr. Walter Cooper Academy.
“As your State Senator, I have been working to make a difference for residents all across the city of Rochester,” said Ranzenhofer. “Each one of these initiatives will help to strengthen neighborhoods. I will continue to ensure residents have a strong voice in their State government.”
About the 61st Senate District
The 61st Senate District encompasses the Towns of Chili and Riga, the Village of Churchville and part of the city of Rochester in Monroe County; the Towns of Amherst, Clarence and Newstead and the Villages of Akron and Williamsville in Erie County; and all of Genesee County.
