State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has issued the following statement:
"Since day one, I have been a strong believer in the Western New York Science and Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park. For the last seven years, I have championed the WNY STAMP Project, from securing $2 million for infrastructure improvements in 2011 to spearheading the effort to deliver another $33 million last year.
“These strategic investments have helped to get us to where we are today. Now, 1366 Technologies will put the STAMP Project on the map with the largest economic development project ever in Genesee County.
“1366 Technologies’ plan to invest $700 million confirms the STAMP Project is a real winner for our region. This high-tech investment will pay dividends in the form of 600 new, full-time jobs in the first phase and eventually a total of 1,000 new jobs."
