Statement from Senator Venditto Re: Suffolk Police Officer Mark Collins

"I would like to wish all the best to Suffolk Police Officer Mark Collins who is recovering from being shot last night in Huntington Station. Officer Collins is a resident of North Bellmore and a Fire Commissioner for the North Bellmore Fire Department. Officer Collins is being treated at Stony Brook University Hospital and, thankfully, is expected to survive. I join with all the members of the North Bellmore community to wish him a speedy recovery.
