Statement from State Senator Venditto RE: Governor Cuomo’s State of the State Address and Budget Presentation

“In the coming days and weeks I, along with my Long Island colleagues in the Senate and Assembly will be thoroughly analyzing Governor Cuomo’s Executive Budget Proposal. As the process gets underway with hearings, I will work to be a strong advocate for the needs of my constituents in the 8th Senate District.

We need to create the best opportunities for the next generation of Long Islanders, from fully funding our world class schools -to- creating new and better jobs to strengthen and grow our local economy -to- reigning in out of control taxes, all of which will help improve our lives and make Long Island a more enjoyable and affordable place to live and work. By working in a collaborative, bi-partisan manner throughout this budget process, I am hopeful we can achieve results.”
