Mark Your Calendars! Ritchie Releases Dates of 2015 Senior Health and Wellness Fairs

Events to be Held at NEW Locations in Oswego and St. Lawrence Counties

State Senator Patty Ritchie is asking seniors to mark their calendars for her annual Senior Health and Wellness Fairs, which will take place in September and October in Oswego, St. Lawrence and Jefferson Counties.

“Each and every year, thousands of seniors throughout Central and Northern New York look forward to visiting my Senior Health and Wellness Fairs, where they can access the tips and tools they need to improve their well-being,” said Senator Ritchie.

“Featuring free lunch, entertainment and so much more, this year’s Senior Health and Wellness Fairs will be bigger and better than ever and I’m truly looking forward to welcoming residents who are looking to have fun and improve their health.”

Senator Ritchie’s 2015 Senior Health and Wellness Fairs will take place from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates, and will feature new locations for the Oswego and St. Lawrence County events:

Oswego County Senior Health and Wellness Fair: NEW LOCATION

Date: September 23^rd

Location: SUNY Oswego’s Swetman Gym

St. Lawrence County Senior Health and Wellness Fair: NEW LOCATION

Date: October 1^st

Location: Richard G. Lockwood Civic Arena (located on West River Street in Ogdensburg)

Jefferson County Senior Health and Wellness Fair

Date: October 21^st

Location: Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center (located on Faichney Drive in Watertown)

Each event will feature more than 50 exhibitors offering wellness advice and health checks, entertainment and  free flu shots, available with your Medicare or insurance ID. In addition, attendees will also be invited to enjoy a free lunch made possible through special funding secured by Senator Ritchie and prepared by the “future chefs” at St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES and Oswego CiTi.
