State Senator Patty Ritchie is inviting local children to join her for “Stories With Santa,” an event taking place on December 8th at Watertown’s historic Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library that will feature readings of Christmas classics by Santa Claus.
“From ‘The Night Before Christmas’ to ‘The Polar Express,’ there are so many classic stories that help us to get into the spirit of holidays,” said Senator Ritchie.
“And, these classics are made even more special when they’re read by the star of the season—Santa Claus. I’m looking forward to welcoming children and families to the library and giving them an opportunity to hear Santa read some of his favorite Christmas stories.”
The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Flower Memorial Library, located at 229 Washington Street in Watertown. During the event, Santa will read several holiday stories, including “The Polar Express.” Like the characters in the book, those attending are invited to wear their pajamas. In addition to readings by Santa, snacks and beverages will also be served.
Those interested in attending “Stories With Santa,” are encouraged to RSVP, and can do so by clicking here or by calling (315) 782-3418.
