State Senator Patty Ritchie welcomed recent winner of ‘The Voice,’ Sawyer Fredericks to the Capitol Tuesday, where he was honored by both the Senate and Assembly for his recent success on the hit television show.
A native New Yorker, the 16 year-old folk-soul singer grew up on a farm in Fultonville. As a result of his winning ‘The Voice,” Fredericks received $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group.
