Funke to Host Jobs Fair at Mcc on June 18th

Senator Rich Funke today announced he will be hosting a free jobs fair, facilitated by the August Group, at Monroe Community College’s Flynn Center on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.. Area residents seeking employment or a career change are invited to attend to connect with prospective employers from around the Greater Rochester region.

“When you are out of a job, nothing matters more,” said Funke. “Our free jobs fair will be a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with exciting employers in some of our area’s fastest growing fields, like healthcare, advanced manufacturing, professional services, and so many more. If you are looking for a job or a career change, we hope to see you at MCC on June 18th!”

Funke’s Jobs Fair is free and open to the public. Employers present will feature job opportunities in the fields of healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, professional services, and more. Job-seekers are encouraged to arrive early and bring multiple copies of their resumes. Free parking is available on the MCC campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road, in lots M and M1.
