Senator Secures Funds for Educational Programs, Equipment and Supplies
YOUNGSTOWN - Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I – North Tonawanda) today presented a ceremonial check to the Old Fort Niagara Association in the amount of $15,000. The Senator secured the state funding for Old Fort Niagara as part of this year’s state budget. The historic military fort will used the money for equipment, such as props for exhibits or reenactments, supplies, and interactive educational programs to teach visitors of all ages the history of the Niagara Region in the 18th century.
