New York Hispanic Clergy Organization's Annual Banquet
You should know that the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization will celebrate its 27th Annual Banquet this coming Saturday, April 18, 2015 starting with a Buffet Hour at 12:00 noon at Maestro’s Caterers, located at 1703 Bronxdale Avenue in Bronx County.
You should also know that more than 800 ministers, dignitaries and guests will gather to recognize the work of four members of the clergy who have distinguished themselves for their commitment, dedication and service to their community.
These dignitaries include New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, Congressman Charles Rangel, Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz, Jr., Bronx County Democratic Chair Marcos Crespo, and Assemblymen Luis Sepulveda and Michael Blake.
`
The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization’s honorees: Rev. Jose Malave, Lic. Dallal Farid, Rev. Dr. Carlos Torres and Min. Luis Rodriguez will be recognized for their dedicated efforts throughout 2014.
Ladies and gentlemen, these honors are made to obey the teachings of the Bible: “ And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves." 1 Thessalonians 5 : 12-13.
I am State Senator Rubén Díaz and this is what you should know.
