Statement against violence by Senator Rubén Díaz
“I was outraged to watch the video on the news showing a vicious attack on a gay couple in a restaurant in Chelsea. Please join me and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization to pray for an end to all of the violence that has permeated our city. Please join us to pray for an end to savage behavior against gay couples, straight couples, New York City Police Officers, Correction Officers, children, elderly, vulnerable people, and everyone who is a victim of violence. We are all human beings and should learn to disagree without violence.”
